Today, we’re excited to announce Shutterstock Tab, a Chrome extension that was built with both inspiration and function in mind. Every time you open a new tab, you will see a stunning new image and customized information about the time, weather, and more. Give it a try »
To build Shutterstock Tab, we carefully curated hundreds of exquisite images from our collection of more than 65 million photos, vectors, and illustrations. You’ll see high-quality images from around the world in categories like travel, food, animals, and so much more.
The dashboard can also be customized to display time, local weather, and recently visited sites, according to your preferences. If you fall in love with any of the images, there’s a link to see more on Shutterstock, where you can download the image or explore the artist’s collection. We also offer a search bar, so you can find more images whenever inspiration strikes.
Shutterstock Tab originated at one of our annual hackathons (24-hour events where teams pull all-nighters and work to develop new ideas) and has been used as a source of inspiration across the company ever since.
